Belle was the last foal from my great-uncles breeding program. He passed away when she was a filly and at the time I was unable
to purchase her. Years went by and she was lost as papers were never transfered, I accepted that I would never find the beautiful
filly that I wanted so bad after my uncle passed away. In June of 2008 I received a phone call from a woman I had never met.
She explained to me that she owned a mare that my uncle used to own. It was her husbands horse and unfortunetly his health
was failing him. She asked if I would be interested in taking the mare. Of course I replied with tears and a "yes, I
would love to."

When my uncle passed away he left me with his mare Daleena (Belles dam). I was lucky enough to have 3 beautiful filly's from
her. That mare was very special to me, and taught many kids how to ride (and how to hang on!).

Belle came home on September long weekend, 2008. I can't thank Liz and Bruce Hickling enough for taking such great care of
her on her journey home.
